ParentDeck is a shared household playbook for parents. We understand that the information you store here — your children's routines, medical logs, schedules, and family contacts — is deeply personal. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.
Information you provide
When you create an account, we store your email address and the name you choose for your profile. When you use the app, you and the other parent enter household data such as children's names and birth dates, routines, schedules, meal plans, packing lists, contacts, caregiver details, and quick logs. This data is linked to your household and shared only with the members you invite.
How we use your data
We use your data to provide the ParentDeck features you see in the app — syncing routines and schedules between linked parents, generating caregiver passes, and surfacing your weekly overview. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
Sharing within your household
The data you enter is visible to the other parent in your linked household and, when you choose to share it, to caregivers you invite via a Caregiver Pass. You control what is shared and with whom. We never share your household data outside of the people you have explicitly granted access.
Payments
If you subscribe to ParentDeck Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details — Stripe handles that securely. We retain only your subscription status and, where needed for tax and record-keeping, limited transaction metadata.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your household data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Household page. Once deleted, your data is removed from our active systems.
Security
Access to your data is restricted by row-level security so that only members of your household can read or modify it. We use industry-standard practices to protect our systems, though no service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time from within the app or by contacting us. If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK GDPR / GDPR, including the right to request a copy of your data and to object to processing.
Children's data
ParentDeck is designed for parents and guardians to manage information about their children. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. A parent or guardian creates and controls all child-related records.
